Kate's Remedies ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
When you place an order, we collect the recipient's name and phone number, the delivery address (for shipping orders), your chosen delivery or pickup date, and any gift card message you write. Payment is handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe — they collect your name, email address, phone number and card details directly; we never see or store your card number.
When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address and message you provide, so we can reply to you.
Your shopping cart is stored in your browser (not on our servers) so items aren't lost if you refresh the page. It's only sent to us when you complete checkout.
We don't use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this site, and we don't collect any personal information beyond what's needed to fulfil your order or respond to your message.

Order details are kept as part of our sales records for as long as required under New Zealand tax and accounting rules. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, unless they relate to an order, in which case they're kept with that order's records.

This site is served over HTTPS, and our admin dashboard is password-protected. Card payment details are handled directly by Stripe and never pass through our servers.
